St. Luke Assembly is...

Journeying together in The Way, united in faith, nurturing habits of the heart and mind.

The early church called the path of following Christ's teachings "The Way."  As a community of faith, we are journeying together as we follow Christ.  We are united in pursuing a like precious faith which has been faithfully handed down to us through the prophets of old, the apostles of Christ and a continuous stream of faithful ministers of the Gospel throughout the centuries.  In so doing, we seek to nurture the habits of both heart and mind which contribute to our spiritual formation of becoming more like Christ.

We believe that the Bible is our all-sufficient rule for faith and practice. We see its central truths summarized in the Apostles’ and Nicene Creeds. These creeds state the core beliefs of the Christian faith. While we will always have questions about the mystery of God, the Church, and our own faith, we remain steadfast in these two foundational creeds which have defined orthodox Christian belief since the earliest days of the Church.
